ooVoo is a free video chat and video conferencing tool that allows you to stay connected with loved ones, friends, colleagues and customers. ooVoo is the next evolution in online communication — a remarkably easy way to have a face-to-face video with anyone no matter where they are in the world.
The quality is good and is improved even further when you select the High Resolution Video option.
This tool has many great features — from video calls with up to six people in the upgraded version and three people in the FREE version. This tool eve has video messaging, chat and file transfer capabilities.
I love ooVoo Video Chat because it is remarkably easy to use. Simply download to install then you are ready to ooVoo someone and best of all it’s FREE! My mastermind group consists of people from 4 different states and we meet every two weeks for 3 hours. About 3 moths ago our mastermind started using ooVoo and we have benefited in three key ways:
- Improved communcaiton. There is no more guessing whether the other team members get what you are saying. You can see their facial expressions and body language which helps to check for understanding. You communicate more effectively because body language makes up 55% of the meaning in communication messages.
- Engagement. Team members are more activly engaged in the discussion and remail alert and focused during the 3 hour call.
- Show and Tell. There have been times when it has been very helpful during our calls for someone to hold up a relevant item such as a book, product or gadget being discussed. For example, one of our mastermind members was able to show the exact headset she uses so others learn more about it and explore its design.
Presenting without Notes

Have you ever wanted to use notes during your presentation but didn’t want to use note cards? There is a simple yet powerful approach to looking like a pro when you deliver your next presenation without spening tons of $$$ on a teleprompter. Here is how to set up Notes that will always be right in front of your face but invisible to the audience.
The simple answer, if you are using PowerPoint 2002 or later, is to set your presentation to run on two monitors.
1) One monitor will display your presentation slides which will be viewable by the audience.
2) The second monitor will be used to project the notes from your presentation. This is called Presenter View and while using this view you will be able to see your notes, slides and other applications during the slide show. The great thing about Presenter View is that all of the applications that are visable to you are not visible to your audience. You also have the ability to easily start and end your presentation as well as show slides out of order. You can even keep track of the elasped time since the start of your presentation so you are a never surprised and run out of time again. So now I know your question is, how do I set this up?

Versions 2007:
- Connect a second monitor or display device to the source computer.
- Select “Slide Show” from the Main Menu Bar.
- Click on the ”Set Up Slide Show” command.
- Click on the “Show Presenter View” option box.
- Click “OK”.
Versions 2003 or Older:
- Connect a second monitor or display device to the source computer.
- Go to the Menu bar and click on the “Set Up Show” command.
- Click on the “Show Presenter View” option box.
- Click “OK”.
Create Your Own Comic Strips

Liven up your presentations, blogs and articles by creating your own comic strips. Hiring someone to create a customized comic can be pricey. Just ask me how I know. I recently stubmled upon a great tool that allows you to express your creative side and also connect with your audience and customers.
