What is UX? And why is it important in AI?

In UX design, we strive to understand human needs, emotions, and behaviors to design intuitive, meaningful interactions between people and technology. It's more than just making things look good. It's about complex digital solutions, transformed into simple, delightful experiences that solve real user problems.

As our world becomes more and more AI-powered, people's expectations in machines and the way they interact with them change drastically. Figuring out how to serve users best has become crucial to success, which is exactly what UX is about.

Massage chair voice assistant

Working with one of the leading massage chair providers in the US, we built a voice assistant to be integrated into their mobile app, enabling users to start a massage via voice.

Countless Alexa skills

During my time at Vixen Labs, I designed a vast range of Alexa skills, ranging from utility to gaming, often involving latest Alexa functionality in beta stages.

AI-powered marketing tools

During my time at House337, I drove several proof of concept and sandbox initiatives building LLM based tools to help our clients in their marketing and communication efforts.

The intersection of people and cutting-edge technologies is my passion, and it has taken me from designing for the web to voice interfaces and now to AI. Today, technology is more diverse and multimodal than ever - pushing us to explore new pathways, rethink established conventions, and innovate beyond the expected. And I love a challenge.

Latest relevant experience

2021-2024 Head of Conversational AI Experience Design

Full time management and design role at UK based Conversational AI Agency Vixen Labs, which was acquired by House337. My job was to drive the end-to-end design process, ensuring we deliver high-quality, user-centered conversational AI experiences including chatbots and voice bots. I also oversaw the design and development of AI-powered products in my expanded role as AI Product Manager.

2019-2020 Senior Voice User Experience Designer

Full time design and leadership role at Conversational AI Agency Vixen Labs, designing conversational AI experiences across platforms, shaping how clients leverage AI-driven user interactions. My focus during that time was voice user interfaces.

Why "a tool a day"?

I love exploring new tools. Staying up-to-date with trending services and boosting efficiency are only part of the journey though. My main aim is to uncover what works in UX (and what doesn’t), identifying new UX challenges, emerging standards, and inspiring creative solutions.
